Freefall Dance is seeking an enthusiastic emerging or early-career dance artist to join us as an apprentice for a 12-week paid opportunity, with the potential to develop into a longer-term working relationship.

This role offers hands-on learning, shadowing and training across Dance and Pilates Barre, rooted in Freefall’s upbeat, inclusive and community-focused approach. You’ll gain collaborative teaching experience, mentoring from a practitioner with 16 years’ experience, CPD, and references to support future work.
*please note, this apprenticeship does not lead to a Pilates Barre quallification

Pay:

Planning/ Mentoring £13 per hour (above National Minimum Wage) - 1.5hrs per week

Shadowing/ teaching support £16.25p/h - 2.15hrs per week

Total fee: £672.00
 

Dates:

Mondays 23rd Feb – 30th Mar and 20th April – 8th June
(excluding bank holidays and half terms)

Shadowing/ teaching support: 17:45 - 18:45 & 19:00 - 20:15
Planning/ mentoring: Mondays daytimes (can be arranged to suit) 

Location: Penryn/Falmouth area

Eligibility: Must live in Cornwall and be able to commute

About you:

• Essential training/experience in dance (contemporary and/or jazz desirable)

• Curious about anatomy and Pilates

• Interested in teaching and working within the community

• Friendly, open and confident in your approach

• Be 18 years old or over at the time of starting
