ABOUT US
Welcome to Freefall Dance!
Freefall Dance is a welcoming community dance hub, based in Penryn, Cornwall, offering weekly classes for adults of all ages and abilities. Our classes create a space to move, connect and step away from the everyday — whether you’re returning to dance or trying it for the first time.
Founded in 2010 by Grace Sibley-Sellwood, & Emily Alden Freefall has grown into the vibrant community it is today under Grace’s direction as sole director for the past 10 years. Along the way, dance practitioner Charlotte Luke has helped shape the programme and community.
We’re also passionate about supporting emerging dance artists, with opportunities for graduates such as our current apprentice, Aimee Hitchens, to develop their teaching practice.

Our values:
Accessibility
Dance is for everyone. We welcome adults of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, creating a space where people feel comfortable to start or return to movement.
Joy
Movement should feel good. Our classes celebrate the simple joy of dancing and the freedom that comes from expressing yourself physically.
Community
Freefall is more than a class — it’s a supportive community where people connect, encourage one another and share the experience of moving together.
Dance. Community. Joy
A welcoming space for adults of all ages and abilities to move, connect and rediscover the joy of dance.
